All content on this Website and all materials supplied by Where Rooms Begin (including design concepts, mood-boards, digital design packages, swatch boxes, digital downloads, layouts, images and text) remain the intellectual property of Where Rooms Begin or its licensors. They are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
You may:
Access, view, and download materials we provide for personal, non-commercial use only.
You may not:
Reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit our content without prior written consent.
Designs, drawings, moodboards and materials provided by us are for your personal use only and may not be reproduced, resold, distributed or used for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
You agree not to:
- Use the Website or our materials for any unlawful purpose.
- Introduce any malicious software or harmful content.
- Interfere with Website security or other users' enjoyment of the Website.
- Reproduce or share design materials or content for commercial use without written permission.
We use your data to:
- Communicate with you about your project
- Provide design and sourcing services
- Process payments securely
- Arrange delivery of products sourced on your behalf

4.1 Design Service and Design Package Delivery:
Our primary service is the delivery of a bespoke interior design solution in the form of a Digital Design Package, which may include:
- Digital mood-boards, colour palette and product suggestions.
- Optional add-ons such as Swatch Boxes (physical samples) or On-Site
Design Consultations, available where specified.
Onsite visits may not be available in all geographical areas.
Please check our website for current availability and eligibility before booking.
You are entitled to request one revision of the concept mood-board before your designer finalises your design package. Any further revisions or changes to your mood-board or design package may incur additional fees.
Our design packages are provided for conceptual purposes only and not to be relied upon as definitive specifications for any design project, construction, renovation or similar work.
We are not liable for ensuring that the design package complies with relevant building regulations, safety standards or other applicable legal requirements. It is your responsibility to ensure that any activities or actions based on the design package meet these regulatory requirements.
Payment for design services and optional add-ons is taken in full, upfront via Stripe.
Lead time for delivery of the Digital Design Package is typically within 3 weeks of the initial consultation, provided we receive all required information from you in a timely manner.
4.2 Product Sourcing and Ordering (Optional):
Following delivery of your Digital Design Package, you may request us to source and purchase products on your behalf from third-party suppliers. This service is optional and is subject to separate written agreement and invoicing.
-Where Rooms Begin acts strictly as a design and sourcing agent and does not manufacture, warehouse or hold inventory.
-Product specifications, lead times, production schedules, quality and delivery services are controlled entirely by third-party suppliers.
-Estimated lead times provided by suppliers are for guidance only. Where Rooms Begin accepts no liability for delays, changes or failure to deliver by third-party suppliers.
-Once orders are placed with suppliers, cancellations or refunds cannot be issued, except where required by law.
Any products we recommend are subject to availability and may be withdrawn, substituted or modified by the relevant supplier at any time. We do not warrant that any product will be available, in stock or offered at the same price when you decide to purchase it.
You are responsible for checking the dimensions, specifications and suitability of any products or furniture we recommend before purchase to ensure they will fit into the intended space.
You must ensure that products and furniture can pass freely into the intended room for delivery purposes and that nothing will adversely affect delivery. We are not responsible for failed or delayed deliveries caused by access restrictions or any other obstacles.
Any measurements taken by us are provided for design guidance purposes only. While we will exercise reasonable care, all measurements must be independently verified by you and/or your contractor before ordering products or commencing works.
You are responsible for providing accurate measurements for the purposes of your design package. We will use the measurements you provide to produce designs and will take reasonable care to ensure they reflect the information provided.
We are not responsible for errors, omissions or losses arising from:
-Measurements you provide that are inaccurate, or
-Measurements that have not been independently verified prior to ordering, manufacturing, or installation.
You agree that all information you provide in any survey, questionnaire or requests for information we make will be true, complete and sufficient for the purposes of providing our services, and that you will promptly inform us of any changes. We are not responsible for any errors, delays or additional costs arising from incomplete, inaccurate or outdated information provided by you.
All payments for design services, moodboards, digital design packages, and add-ons are processed securely via Stripe at the point of booking.
Product sourcing and ordering (if requested) will require full payment upfront before any supplier orders are placed.
We may offer promotional discounts on our website. Discounts cannot be applied to purchases that have already been made and are intended only for the client who booked them. We reserve the right to amend or withdraw any promotional offers at any time.
1. 24-Hour Cancellation Window
Cancellations made within 24 hours of booking may be eligible for a full refund, provided that no design work has commenced.
2. Package Changes Within 24 Hours
If you purchase a package and wish to make changes, you must notify us within 24 hours of booking. After this period, changes cannot be guaranteed, as design work may have already commenced.
3. 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
You have the right to cancel your booking within 14 days of purchase for a full refund, as long as no design work has started. Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving your cancellation request. If you request that we begin work during this period, you may lose your right to cancel once work has started.
4. Commencement of Design Work
Design services are considered to have started once any work on your project begins, including consultations, concept development, space planning or sourcing.
5. Non-Refundable Fees
Once design services have commenced, design service fees are non-refundable.
6. Discretionary Refunds
Any refunds outside of the above terms may be offered at our discretion.
7. Physical Products & Third-Party Orders
Optional physical add-ons (e.g. swatch boxes) are non-refundable once dispatched. Third-party products cannot be cancelled or refunded once the order is confirmed, except where required by law.
8. Cancellation by Where Rooms Begin
If we are unable to provide the agreed services, we will offer you the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.
Digital Design Packages will be delivered via email or downloadable link.
Swatch Boxes will be dispatched using a third-party courier service. We are not responsible for courier delays.
For third-party products sourced on your behalf, delivery times, delays, damages, or failures are the responsibility of the supplier and/or their delivery partners.
Where Rooms Begin accepts no liability for delivery delays or supplier errors.
It remains your responsibility to provide correct delivery addresses and ensure access for deliveries.
Where Rooms Begin is not liable for defects, quality issues or damages related to third-party products.
Any warranties or guarantees are provided solely by the manufacturer or supplier.
We will assist you in contacting the supplier if issues arise but are not responsible for resolving disputes with third parties.
We are not liable for products or furniture that are ordered incorrectly, or that do not meet your expectations and need to be returned for any reason, whether ordered directly by you or on your behalf by us.
We are not liable for any losses or damages resulting from the acts, omissions or failures of third-party suppliers, contractors or service providers we recommend. All contracts or arrangements for goods or services are solely between you and the relevant third party. You agree to indemnify us against any losses, costs or liabilities arising from any breach of contract or duty by you or the third party in relation to these services.
We may hold, form or develop commercial or affiliate relationships with third-party suppliers of products that we recommend.
We may receive and retain a percentage of any trade discounts or other commercial benefits offered by third-party suppliers, including for orders you place using voucher codes, discount codes or trade-account access provided by us.
We strive to ensure our Website is available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.
The Website and all content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
Nothing in these terms will limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or fraud.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Where Rooms Begin is not liable for:
-Delays, damages, or defects caused by third-party suppliers.
